Is Your Partner Pregnant?

“I am pregnant” are three of the scariest words a man can hear if the pregnancy is unplanned. After making the announcement, your partner may look to you for answers. If you’re wondering what to do, we are here for you.

Take Advantage of Our Free Pregnancy Services

We offer urine pregnancy testing free of charge. Even if your partner has taken a home pregnancy test, we encourage you to come with her to Crossroads Care Center for our pregnancy testing services. A trained nurse administers the test so you both can be assured you’re getting accurate results.

If the test is positive, we can provide an ultrasound scan free of charge. Ultrasound determines if the pregnancy is viable (developing) or if she has had an early miscarriage. It also detects if the pregnancy is located safely and how far along she is.

Learn About Your Options

Although the decision is ultimately up to your partner, you have three pregnancy options: have an abortion, make an adoption plan, or choose to parent. When you visit Crossroads Care Center, we can discuss all three choices.

Keep the Lines of Communication Open

Open and honest communication between you and your partner is vital. Share your fears and concerns with one another. It is important that you know how the other is feeling. Offer your support and encouragement, and let her know she is not alone.

If you are struggling to talk with one another about the pregnancy, we have trained peer advocates who can assist you.
