How Soon Can I Take a Pregnancy Test?
Healthcare providers recommend waiting until the first day after your missed period to test. If your periods are irregular, you should wait a little longer. To confirm your pregnancy test results, you should test again later.
Why Do I Need an Ultrasound if I’m Getting an Abortion?
Ultrasound protects your health and safety. An ultrasound scan detects if your pregnancy is viable (developing) or if you have had a miscarriage. It also determines the pregnancy’s location and the number of weeks you have been pregnant. How far along you are determines the abortion method you qualify for.
Do You Perform Abortions?
Crossroads Care Center does not perform or refer for abortion. We do provide factual, medical-based information about abortion procedures, side effects, and potential physical and emotional risks.
Can I Bring Someone With Me to My Appointment?
We want you to be as comfortable as possible. You are welcome to bring your partner, a close friend, or a family member with you.
Can You Place My Baby for Adoption?
Crossroads Care Center is not a child-placing agency. Still, we can provide referrals to reputable licensed adoption coordinators who can assist you.
How Can I Get Prenatal Care?
If you are uninsured or underinsured, our Limited Prenatal Care Clinic is available free of charge for the first 12 weeks of during your pregnancy.
Can You Help Me Get a Pregnancy Verification Form?
All patients who receive positive pregnancy tests at Crossroads Care Center receive an official Verification of Positive Pregnancy Test form.
